Christmas is undoubtedly the best time of year! There is something so warming and exciting about this celebration that ‘i wish it could be Christmas everyday’🎵. Although there are endless reasons why we love this season, we have come up with 8 reasons why we adore Christmas.
Traditions
We are kicking this blog of with Christmas traditions. When it comes to traditions there are ones everybody know from advent calender’s and kissing under the mistletoe to making gingerbread houses and sending cards. However, families have adapted and created their own traditions within their families which make it so much more magical.
Movies
We are now in December and the festive films have begun! There’s nothing more i enjoy than curling up on the sofa wrapped in blankets with plenty of snacks watching my favorite Christmas films. They never fail to put me in a good mood!
Songs
Who doesn’t like Christmas music?! If your not already in the Christmas spirit, Christmas tunes will do the trick and i guarantee you, you will be filled with complete joy and happiness. Considering they are played every year, i never get bored of them.
Food
Christmas food… say no more! Turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffing, roast potatoes, sprouts, parsnips, cranberry, gravy and more to make your mouth water. Christmas dinner is absolutely the best meal throughout the year. Not to mention all the yummy puddings. 😋
Gifts
There’s something so exciting about buying and wrapping gifts for loved ones you know they’ll love! There’s no better feeling than seeing their happy smiling faces while unwrapping their gifts. Also i can’t lie, i love receiving gifts and can’t wait to get my hands on some prezzies.
Festive Markets
Christmas Markets are a great way to put you in a feel good xmas feeling. The great thing about these markets is they provide us with all kind of fun. You can shop decorations, treat yourself to xmas themed food and drinks, play games to win prizes, some have Christmas themed rides and even shows to keep you entertained! Great fun.
Decorating
Trees, streamers, baubles, lights, furniture, ornaments. Everything’s so colorful, sparkly and bright. Christmas takes the boring and plain out our normal households transforming it into a festive busy wonderland for a month. Additionally, putting up decorations provides hours of satisfying fun for all ages.
Family
This is one of my favorite aspects about this festive celebration. It brings family and friends together for the best laughs, funny conversations and endless fun and games. What a time to make memories with people you love most. 👪
